I just had to share this photo of my Mom and me from her friend Sharee's wedding. It is incredibly hard for the pair of us to manage to take a picture together sucessfully... who knew we could pull it off?
And for those who say I'm the spitting image of Mom, you haven't seen me and my Dad yet : )

Mom thinks that knitting is slightly insane. (She loves getting the results of it though!) She respects me for giving it a try, but says she doesn't have the patience to tackle it herself.
That's a trait that skipped a generation. My Mommaw Gross (her mother) is the one who crocheted and sewed and worked in the garden...essentially everything that I do now. It skipped by Mom pretty much completely.
